Nobody is forcing you to use Wayland. Just take up the mantle of maintaining X11 yourself, because nobody is forced to keep that alive either.

No, there are legit red hat employees moderating instances. This is similar to reddit’s linux subreddit too. They ban anything anti red hat and use dirty practices like censorship and vote manipulation. Most people are not aware of this and blindly advocate for them.

wayland solved a vsync issue i had with firefox

obs works with full screen capture on wlroots and also with per-window capture on kde and gnome

redshift is for xorg. use gammastep on wayland instead
