International cooperation is good everywhere. It’s particularly relevant because these investments focus on agriculture in the notoriously difficult land of the Arabian Peninsula and Northern Africa.

China’s pretty happy to have better relations with all those oil and natural gas countries. Arab nations need tech and don’t mind having better ties with China and its surveillance tech.
