Pushed to use artificial intelligence, software developers at the e-commerce giant say they must work faster and have less time to think. Others welcome the shift.

So they have to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 70 pounds occasionally? Or hand-load/unload 53-foot UPS trailers? Or drive busted, old, poorly maintained forklifts? Because I don’t think they know what actually happens in a warehouse. And that’s just normal warehouse, not even Amazon ones.

It’s no coincidence that every friend I knew that worked for Amazon as a dev or related job has left. This started a few years ago and has clearly gotten worse.

I am always amazed anyone takes a job as a coder at amazon. But their search results show it isn’t our best or brightest.
