Microsoft’s AI CEO, Mustafa Suleyman, has shared his opinion after recent pushback from users online that are becoming frustrated with Copilot and AI on Windows. In a post on X, Suleyman says he’s mind blown by the fact that people are unimpressed with the ability to talk fluently with an AI computer.

His post comes after Windows president Pavan Davuluri was recently met with major backlash from users online for posting about Windows evolving into an agentic OS. His post was so negatively received that he was forced to turn off replies, though Davuluri did later respond to reassure customers that the company was aware of the feedback.

AI is for the idiot investors to believe in only

And, it’s also a good way yo turn “we fired 30 people because our company is failing” into “we replaced 30 positions with AI”

There was an experiment a couple years ago I remember reading about concluding that of all the jobs that ““AI”” could replace, C-suites were the one category where the computer outperformed humans in a statistically-significant amount

Let’s be real; C-suite positions are rarely filled by anyone who brings actual value to the company. They’re figureheads, but they’re also largely interchangeable.

And with so many CEOs, CTOs, etc., doing so much of their jobs with LLMs, that basically proves that you don’t need actual intelligence in those positions.
