Social media divides us, makes us more extreme and less empathetic, it riles us up or sucks us into doom scrolling, making us stressed and depressed. It feels like we need to touch grass and escape to the real world.

New research shows that we might have largely misinterpreted why this is the case. It turns out that the social media internet may uniquely undermine the way our brains work but not in the way you think.

It’s fine. We’ll divide the world into 2 parts.

The first part is reserved for the “chronically online” losers who always compare themselves to shit they see on social media. Never gonna achieve anything in life.

The second part is people who get out of home and DO stuff. They use the internet for knowledge and never stay inside their information bubble. These are active people reaping the awards and fulfilling their life with actions.

Also my opinion on social media - the key ingredient to social media is sharing what happens outside of it. If you do nothing, you can’t share it. It’s useless for you.
