      Really? I used to follow /r/worldnews and my experience every time someone posted a US story, even if it seemed world relatable, it was quickly either taken down or downvoted to oblivion with people yelling that there was /r/usnews for that.

      I found it a bit off putting, even if it was accurate most of the time.

      Unfortunately American politics influences global politics. Conservatism is on the downturn because the number of people who benefit from it are stating to die off and the number of new conservative voters is not increasing. That isn’t exclusive to America. GOP talking points are an easy in for global conservatives to bring up their own “concerns” about things that are talking points but not policies. I don’t want my rights restricted any further than they have been. I’m not American just so you know.
