      I love the insinuation being made here. It’s like watching a real-time Holocaust denial unfold.

      Just out of curiosity, what is your definition of a respectable source?

          https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/newsmax-bias-credibilty-reliability/

          Even better then al-jazeera /j

          A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for profit or influence

          Any other outlets?

            A reminder that mediabiasfactcheck is literally just the personal project of a random healthcare worker with no background or qualification in journalism or academic research. It’s just some guy’s personal opinion of sources after a cursory look, and holds no serious weight.

          “Media Bias/Fact Check rarely conducts original fact checks as many other sources are faster and do a better job. We primarily rely on fact-checkers affiliated with the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN).”

          Source: Media Bias Fact Check

          Writers at the Poynter Institute, which develops PolitiFact, have stated that “Media Bias/Fact Check is a widely cited source for news stories and even studies about misinformation, despite the fact that its method is in no way scientific.” In 2018, a writer in the Columbia Journalism Review described Media Bias/Fact Check as “an armchair media analysis” and characterized their assessments as “subjective assessments [that] leave room for human biases, or even simple inconsistencies, to creep in”.

        @Boff

        This article doesn’t specifically say anything about a Christmas day raid though.

        That’s my point, also it talks about Jenin, not Bethelem like Al-Jazeera claims

      Al Jazeera isn’t even reporting on it. The article OP linked doesn’t say anything about Israel attacking anywhere in the West Bank, let alone Bethlehem.

      It just says people in Bethlehem are sad that people in gaza are dying.

      The OP is clearly lying to try to drum up anti Israeli support by putting a blatantly false headline and hyping nobody does any research. Disgusting.

      Edit: The first article was hidden by the way my lemmy app handles links vs comment bodies and i misunderstood what I was clicking.
