Becker called October 7 “the largest calculated mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust” … to respond “to the slaughter of October 7 which Hamas has vowed to repeat.”
…is the author implying that it wasn’t the largest calculated mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust?
Hamas has vowed to repeat the Oct 7 attacks. Publicly, clearly, and multiple times on international TV.
That’s why Israel decided to beat them? What an apologist logic you have! Does this give them the right to bomb civilians to smitten, or starve them or displace them? Not to mention preventing humanitarian aid, damaging civilian infrastructure, hospitals, etc.?
And all of this coming from a country pretending to be democratic and lawful? What about the settler attacks, the myriad of checkpoints built by Israel? They even revoked the work permits of Palestinians living in the West Bank just out of spite. So don’t tell me that Israel is the good guy here.

The author isn’t implying anything. They are just using citation to explicitly refer to what Becker said.
Example: gedaliyah affirms “Hamas has vowed to repeat Oct 7 attacks. Publicly, clearly, and multiple times on international TV.”
Given the title of the piece, it could seem to be an assertion that these statements are not based in reality.
