Including actions from both the IDF and Hamas. And certain actions from US troops in various wars.

Fucking hell, the obvious double standard couldn’t be more apparent.

They’re literally both terrorists, I don’t know what to tell you. But even when killing civilians, there are rules that sometimes allow it according to proportionality rules (which I think Israel has violated). And of course the Israeli government actively wants to and are by the definitions of many committing genocide, which is way worse.

Unless you think that Hamas killing people at a music festival is somehow a valid military target, they’re terrorists. Just like how the IDF are terrorists for attacking Palestinian journalists and innocent family members.

How come when they kill civilians, they’re terrorists, but when the USA does it, it’s “certain actions” from individual troops? A naked double standard.

But even when killing civilians, there are rules that sometimes allow it

Oh really? And which rules would these be? And when exactly do they apply?

Unless you think that Hamas killing people at a music festival is somehow a valid military target, they’re terrorists.

Your definition of terrorist is so broad that it would be meaningless if you applied it consistently; the allied powers in WW2 would all be terrorists, as would resistance groups and the people who participated in the Warsaw uprising. The American revolutionaries were terrorists, and the USA has been a terrorist organisation ever since, as have most countries.

But of course, you don’t apply it consistently, you have a double standard.

“Terrorist” is a meaningless term in the first place really. It’s used by the imperial core to describe anyone from their own right-wing tools like the ISIS to anyone fighting against imperialism like Hamas or Ansarullah.
