    Mach as I love Doctorow,Down and Out… was masterpiece and the novels went downhill from there (Easter Std. Tribe was still good, as was Makers)

      Little Brother wasn’t bad and had some interesting ideas, but I would have to agree with you on the whole. As the saying goes, most authors only have one book in them. That being said, Down and Out is a masterpiece that I think about regularly and recommend often.
