It’s my goddamn motherfucking mobile data and MY PHONE. I should be able to use it however I want. My wifi went down because the greedy, cunt-faced shitbags at Comcast stole taxpayer subsidies to enrich themselves instead of actually providing the service we’re paying for. I tried to switch to a mobile hotspot and my phone refuses to open one. Everyone responsible for this shit should be fed to alligators locked away in a fucking gulag. We have no rights and live in a corporate plutocracy.

PdaNet used to work for me years ago, but more recently it fails to work on T-Mobile.

It’s frustrating since I rarely need a hotspot, but when I do I really need it.

T-Mobile has given free unlimited hotspot data on all their plans for almost a decade now.

It’s been an extra charge on my last three tmo plans including the one I got two weeks ago. AND each time, the hotspot has a different data cap than the phone’s main data.

Every single plan since Simple Choice includes unlimited hotspot.

It does have a different bucket for the 5G speed soft cap, though, but they all include unlimited 3G speed (7mbps) plus the 5G speed data.

I’m guessing you’re on the Essentials plan. That doesn’t include any 5G hotspot data but it still has unlimited 7mbps hotspot. It’s also the only plan that allows you to buy 5G hotspot speed.

You said in your first comment I replied to that it’s on all their plans.

This comment you said it’s not on my plan.

So that’s not “all” of their plans.
