I wonder if they received phone calls from the two companies running these mills telling them that unless they do something they were going to lay people off and/or close mills?
I also wonder why when proposing new regulations like this, the EPA doesn’t calculate its numbers, but then also have an outside auditor/estimator run some numbers as well so that it doesn’t come down to EPA says this and company XYZ says that.
