But if a Covid surge leads to a recommendation that people wear masks, “I hope they would abide by the recommendation and take into account the risks to themselves and to their families. We are not talking about forcing anybody to do anything.”
This thread is evidence that the best thing that the mask mandate did aside from cut down on covid cases and thus save lives, is it outed everyone who is too selfish and stupid to function in society when asked to do something to protect their neighbors.
I removed a couple of selfish, stupid people from my life thanks to the mask mandate, and I’m happier for it. I’m sure they are, too. Win, win.
