It’s got to be a money thing … this guy only acts if it means he loses money or gains money.
It was probably a contractual obligation … stay on stage for XX number of minutes and we’ll pay you … or we’ll pull funding away from you … whatever it was, it was enough to force him to stay on that stage, even if it meant he just stood there doing nothing.
