The home secretary is seeking "urgent advice" about banning American XL Bully dogs as footage shows one of the animals attacking an 11-year-old girl and a man in Birmingham. But there are a lot of mosquitos, and the infertile males won’t fully displace the healthy male population, so it’s unlikely the population will ever dip too low to drive them to extinction.
