What were the products? Is this a delta 8 or other cannabinoid thing or a delta-9 by volume thing? I guess a blanket ban would eliminate CBD products and everything. Bummer. No surprise though. Kentucky leans very conservative and a bunch of counties are still dry (even though there’s huge bourbon producers there).

Go figure. Conservative politicians don’t mind making alcoholic beverages, it gets them tax dollars

They’re just not going to allow people there to enjoy these things. You can be damned sure these politicians have good bottles of bourbon somewhere in their homes, but again: rules for thee, not for mee

Did you know moral panics are the reason why weed was banned in the first place. If you thought America wasn’t the absolute biggest modern day racists learn the real reason weed was made illegal.

I mean, your sort of right, kinda… The ‘moral panic(s)’ you’re referencing were probably the most effective of the ways anti-drug measures were packaged up and ‘sold’ (so-to-speak) to Americans under the auspices that ‘[term for people of color that I’d prefer to not use] were smoking marihuana (sic) and raping white women’. It was well known even then, however, that the use of such extremely inflammatory ⅓I’m pretty sure I get where you (both, I think lol) are coming from there, particularly as I’m very decidedly on the spectrum to put it mildly and have like weapons grade ADHD… So, for the longest time I bounced off of every soulslike I tried starting with Demon’s Souls (if memory serves, as that was way back in the PS3 days lol) and usually ending with me hitting a boss/area that was new, dying repeatedly and (ultimately) quitting in frustration - largely at my inability to “git gud”.1

If it’s like Texas, it was the .3% thc hemp rule that we used here to skirt the delta9 bans. Starting Semptember 1st, every thc product or synthetic alternative will be banned. CBD must be 0% thc content to be legal. I hate this place.
