GOG store page says it works on Mac.
On a separate note, with all these excuses maybe he’s not wanting to play it as much as you think he does. Or, the man is stuck in his ways and needs to read up on basic computer security. I guarantee Steam is keeping his cc info a lot more secure than his work probably handles his PII.
Is this any good for solo play?
Probably a super unpopular opinion but I played it a few months back and did not like it at all. Gameplay and story were both bad.
It’s not a bad game if you think of it as a separate game that has nothing to do with the Thief series. Much like Mass Effect Andromeda.

You’ll be fine Swen, I didnt think BG3 could get any better than DOS2 but I was wrong.
Wasnt the whole thing supposed to be a big update to 2022 title? I remember reading there was going to be no new title for this year and instead MW2 would get a big update.
I bet they saw how dumb people are who are willing to buy a premium version of a battlepass every season on top of all the crazy skins they push out. So, instead we get a “new” title which literally plays and feels like a DLC for MW2 which it was meant to be.
Lmao. Having played it, I never thought of it like that.
He has a video of him playing Apex Legends: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvezoGUtTTg

Look at all these outfit customization options, which you wont see 99% of the time.
Played the demo a while back during the NextFest demo or something related. It definitely has potential, I liked what I saw.
I’ve started following two recently: DSOGaming and TechRaptor.
Coming from bg3, I had the opposite opinion. BG3 loading screens take a while but it doesnt load very much unless your loading saves a lot. With Starfield you get hit with a small loading screen constantly like when transitioning in/out of ships, buildings, planets, etc.

I played one match in the open beta before uninstalling. Gunplay felt super basic, just waves of generic enemies to shoot with mediocre gunfights.
It was on my 4th try I finally liked it after I got over the combat and horse riding mechanics. I think it helped I delved deep into RPGs at the time.
I tried multiple times, BG1 and 2 are very outdated (imo).
