Yeah, I member.
Yeah, I member.
I’m taking a dual-boot route, it does have it’s issues. Unfortunately due to work related and gaming reasons I can’t let go of it just yet.
I went with Linux Mint and I’ve been happy as Larry since I got used to it. But distro hop until you find your fit I’d say, I had spare hardware I was distro-hopping with and Mint just fit me best I think.
You’re spot on with Ventoy, it’s a huge boon. I only recently became aware of it, absolutely love it already. I highly recommend giving it a go.
Awesome writeup, I’ll likely refer to it in future.
6700XT dual, it stays cool, runs 1440p ultra and older 4k (newer stuff with some FSR) and I got it for 507AUD 6-7months ago.
I’m waiting till I see a good price on a 5900x/5950x for the rig I recently built with 5800x, the 5800x rips though I will keep it and do another build with it.
You’d be at it for a while I reckon.
Brazilian snowpowder, works on people, works on sharks. Wonder what else it’ll work on.
Fuckin gunzel
I recently got an 8BitDo ultimate but so far I’ve only managed to get mint to pick it up as “generic Xbox controller”.
When it’s working properly, best controller ever.
I knew I’d get called out some day. Bastards.

Hadn’t considered that viewpoint, you’re absolutely correct.
I’m one of the fanboys that demands an easy mode so I can get more of my friends gud (and addicted) at FromSoft games and come play with me.
Why should my friends have to put as many hours as I had to, in order to become less bad at FromSoft games? There’s no sense in it, yeah I can carry them and give them all the info they could need, but that takes away from the fun of figuring things out and becoming a parry god.
I do agree with you though, the elitism of many in the community needs to stop (or at least be toned down).
Time to bomb Israel so they can empathize with the people they’re oppressing.
I’ve owned dozens of cars, none have been purchased new (or even from a dealership), and I hope I never will. New cars are just computers with wheels, it’s a no from me.
Should’ve got a PC, your loss.
Stop giving them ideas.
Thank you for your in depth explanation, hope your comments help many others on top of myself.
I will give that a read. I have been unintentionally using this feature, anytime I expect I won’t use the GOS pixel for a bit I restart it, I’ve also found it disables biometrics as a security measure. Cool stuff.
TIL, I use GOS and never thought to look, I just see a banner saying there’s been updates and I’ve got “update and restart now”, “schedule restart” and “I’ll restart myself when ready” (or some such).
The extra A is for abomination.
