By the time the Witcher 1 remake comes out we will also have a Witcher 4, so it won’t be a trilogy anymore. That being said, I’m hoping both entries turn out to be good, especially the W1 remake. It’s a fantastic game that’s really hard to recommend for newcomers to the series.
Definitely play The Beginner’s Guide. It was written by the same guy as The Stanley Parable, and it’s only about 1.5 hours long. It has one of the best endings I’ve experienced.
The game mostly had terminals with messages and voice recordings.
I’ll probably pick up the Judgment games. I don’t have Yakuza 4, 5 or 6 yet either, but the main series isn’t on sale this time around unfortunately.
I’m in the exact same situation. It’s crazy how easy it is to manipulate people, if you know what they’re afraid of.
