As if dairy fat isn’t subsidised already.

Cathedral city has a delicious mature cheddar, but otherwise yes I tend to also avoid most vegan cheeses simply because they taste crap. Even if they taste okay, they lack the faintest bit of nutrition; dairy cheese at least has some protein and calcium, but vegan cheeses are usually just fat and salt with nothing of value.
Yep. It’s very cool, but takes a little getting used to at first!
Nah, I’ve used my parents’ induction hob and it’s ridiculously fast to boil liquids. A half pint of milk was boiling over in 20s. Gas stoves can’t compete.
Okay, my original comment clearly came across as a weasel for COVID denial so sorry for that. Fuck denialism.
What I meant was that - like flu - it is an endemic respiratory virus which will be nasty but not fatal to most people. In certain contexts masks are less useful (not useless I suppose), and this is particularly in areas where mask use is minimal and strict (e.g. under the nose or constantly being touched without proper hand hygiene).
So what your cardiologist said could have been a realistic assessment of the current state of COVID, or denialism in which case they’re a dick.
There are varying levels of truth to that. How sincere were they?
Edit: See subsequent comment for clarity.
I think you’re underselling Darktable somewhat. Being able to use drawn and parametric masks for basically all the tools, and the granularity at which you can adjust the variables across the entire image makes it incredibly powerful for non-destructive editing of photos. There are also numerous filters and tools which can be used artistically.
But yes, for “photo-shopping” as opposed to photo editing you probably will want GIMP as well.
Nothing too surprising, but nice nonetheless. Cool
What kind of possibilities?
To “affect” a change would be to alter the change itself, for example if the university had already been reviewing its portfolio then the protesters might be affecting the change by making it happen more quickly.
To “effect” a change would be to cause the change in the first place.
Very unlikely. Keith is pandering to the right on this issue.
If you have a bit of time and are keen to improve then I can recommend watching Jorbs (YouTube or Twitch). He plays StS a lot and explains his decision making process. He’s also a good person.
She probably has more surplus cash for lawyers than the Scottish Government.
Sounds like someone who didn’t learn healthy coping mechanisms.
This is like when my friend from CA discovered merry, marry, Mary except it’s everything.
Fuck, just see anything that the IDF ghouls are pumping out at the moment.
I think I’ve heard “deeply” being used that way for a good few years now. Might have been making its way round for a while!
Scotland: “Are we just wishful thinking?”
Isn’t that called a duathlon to distinguish it from the winter Olympic event?
