Some people have mental health issues of various forms, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury… there are lots of other reasons you should still be able to defend yourself. The training from other parents doesn’t negate the threat. Don’t advocate for being helpless.
It does though, understanding what interest is and how it works is pretty relevant. Understanding percentages and fractions is important for things like cooking too. Ever tried to build something without using any math? It’s everywhere, it literally describes our world in a language that allows us to predict things as well.
Yea, you’ll be fired if you aren’t making tips. It’s right to work too, remember. Think a little bit before your condescending to others for having thoughts.
