If it’s true, China has energy security for the foreseeable future - as Thorium is usually found along side rare earths, and China has the largest deposits of those. More than anywhere else in the world.
Child wives, biological kids, big balls and the youngsters controlling the payment systems, or the children he pretends to be online?
Wasn’t there some sculpture of a goat paper mached with trump dollars?
This is a real 1950s, we’ve sprayed things with carcinogens and poison type problem that there needs to be regulation on. The problem is that usually comes from a lawsuit.
Might relate to this:
First they came for the illegal immigrants - and I did nothing…
Meh finance people are pretty forgiving as long as the money is streaming in. Which is part of why they’re not trust worthy.
But yes, Trump has damaged perceptions of the US as a stable democracy no matter what. So whether he leaves peacefully and wherher people further left get back in and make amendments against future trumps is the real decider of the future of the world.
Given he’s already aligned himself with Steve Bannon’s third term idea, it’s not looking good for the future of Pax Americana.
Next up: A mix between Pax Europa and Pax Sinica (China).
No, China was always the target. Other countries were basically targeted proportionally to their manufacturing bases.
It’s about manufacturing (which Trump wants to return to America).
Haven’t seen anyone saying that.
China’s financial instability and housing market issues are going to make them vulnerable. That said, the world does more trade with China than America thanks to global Western companies outsourcing all their manufacturing there (thus screwing blue collar workers in their home countries).
That same world is now slightly more interested in punishing America thanks to the Trump regime. If he doesn’t revert to previous agreements in the next 6 weeks or so, then I’d expect a global recession is coming not too far down the track.
No, they haven’t even got started yet. This is the advertisements before the show, people are still sitting down and buying snacks.
“at least twice” says the jokers who have picked an arbitrary human concept of “intelligence” to try to measure.
That’s not science because they don’t have any reasonable or reliable definition of the constraints of what they’re claiming to measure (“intelligence”).
It’s intellectual supremacist bullshit. They always shift the goal posts away from the term intelligence - for the same reason IQ tests measure a relativistic “quotient” of score (relative to others tested) rather than being able to measure anything going by “intelligence”.
“Intelligence” is essentially just a brand they slap on research because they all think they’ve got it in spades.
Yeah, and then they convert that to weighted probabilities or a “data space” which they then search during content generation.
I think he’s doing it because he and his team of billionaires have the money to buy buy buy when things are over and done with.
They’ll end up owning most of America. Then they’ll be able to have their Little Kingdoms within it.
Most people don’t seem to realize this: America doesn’t exist right now. The only question is whether anyone will get any of it back in time to save what’s left.
Note: Trump/Musk cut services THEN introduced tariffs. This is a planned crash, it’s aimed as an attack on the American people. I don’t see that point being made enough.
The intention is greed, the tool is cruelty. America is on the slow boat to hell. Journalists will have to point out the intentionality on this eventually.
So Jared Leto.
Our discussion was never about the term factuality. You’ve just now raised that term for the first time in this discussion. You said search engine. They are in fact searching and reconstructing data based on a probabilistic data space.
…and there are plenty of examples of search engines being sued for the types of data they’ve explored or digitized.
…also the inference that search engines are “accurate” or don’t serve up misinformation, and manipulated data is foolish.
No, they’re helping their team mate. The one who gives them tax breaks and deregulates the restrictions on what they can do, with data.
They’re on the same side. Ideology is the lie. Class warfare is the truth.
Finally some support for Trump seen on Lemmy! \s
