I haven’t checked progress in TTS tech for months (probably several revolutionary evolutions have happened since then), but try Coqui xttsv2.

That’s modern journalism for you. A total joke!

I actually enjoy retro gaming. Earthbound and mother 3 are my favorite games! The professor Layton serie is also great! The thing is, while retro games are a huge source of “free” games, they’re often too hard. I also found myself falling in a rabbit hole with an entire generation of retro games that nobody cares about anymore despite being full of great games : flip phone java games" (j2me). I highly recommend trying them if you want to play games on your phone without being thrown a billion ad and microtransactions. Just play the touchscreen variants and your golden. Some good games are : doom RPG 2 and Wolfenstein RPG, literally any game by digital chocolate.
thanks a lot for recommandation, sea of stars and pizza tower look 👌! and yeah my machine isn’t capable to run bigger 3d games. Lol.
Rpg or platformer.
The only way I can access games is by pirating them and I don’t pirate indie games unless they already pretty successful and it wouldn’t hurt them. Yeah, even that 2.99$ is too much when you live in shitty third world country.
Tried braid and got bored real quick.
Tried fez and didn’t even continue past the first 30 min
Tried Undertale, but basically knew the story already from spoilers, and it was kinda boring, uninteresting and too hard.
Played Crashlands and it was a grindfest that actually made me relieved that I finished the game, only to discover it was planet 1 of 3. 👉Uninstalled.
Really enjoyed fear and hunger despite being shit at the game and ended up just cheating. (Was still freaking hard 😭)
Finished and enjoyed Limbo.
I just want a game with a great story, a gameplay with medium low difficulty that isn’t a grindfest and isn’t too long ( usually caused by the endless grinding).
Nom nom nom tasty crayon.
3GB RAM, maybe. 32 GB ROM ? No…
To flash a custom rom you usually use a custom Bootloader like TWRP, and if the bootloader is fucked, the phone is pretty much dead.
High-tier Xiaomi phones usually have headphones jacks and really good hardware . I don’t know about lineage OS, but there’s a EU roms for Xiaomi phones that get rid of all their useless shit. The weirdest thing is that it’s actually a kinda-official custom ROM.
nowadays, all the phones are pretty similar in terms of perf, unless you’re into mobile gaming/video editing/AI, it doesn’t matter. A 12GB Ram, 512GB phone is completely future proof. Heck, if there’s ever a desktop mode added on Android, it’s more than enough for 99% of regular computer usage.
did it many times too and never bricked a phone. The fact that there’s a chance that it can brick a phone is the problem. Were I live, even the cheapest phones cost a month worth of salary, so if you brick s phone, you’re basically without a phone for months as you slowly gather the funds to buy a new one.
Changing ROMs is a huge pain. Not only it can brick the phone, full backups were basically made impossible long ago. It’s best to do it as soon as you purchase the phone and that’s what I am gonna do.
Xiaomi Redmi note 10.
My 4GB phone was perfectly usable on Android 11. It upgrade itself to android 12 and it’s basically can’t keep a second app in background anymore.
It could be. But then again, he did have the help of a Rust designer/core dev. I believe they even wrote the first iteration of the “Jakt” compiler in Rust before rewriting it in Jakt itself, so Andreas isn’t against using Rust.
I am pretty sure it was about how it was difficult for them to do oop with rust, but I reckon it was long ago and my programming knowledge is minimal.
Found it:

I vaguely remember the talk about needing oop for the web being on discord and not twitter, so the twitter post is likely a reaction that.
You’re doubting someone’s ability to create a web browser knowing that they specialize in browser development since the early 2000s?
If this isn’t enough to have confidence in them then nothing will.
The dev has 30 years of experience with c++ and a lot of it was on browsers.
He tried to incorporate rust with the help of “JT”, one of the original rust designers/devs and according to Andreas it didn’t work that well due to the web being too objet oriented or something like that. They both worked together (well, mostly “JT”) to create a new safe programming language called “yakt” that transpile to c++, but the project is currently pretty much dead because nobody is really working on it anymore.
I don’t understand the question fully, but if you want to play a game with a complex mythological pantheon that affect gameplay based on who you worship, interact and fight with gods, aid someone into become an ultimate god, or become a god yourself, I’d highly recommend the rpg maker game fear and hunger 1 and F&H 2 : termina. I reckon the extreme difficulty isn’t for everybody tho.
