Yeah the two folding arms don’t look too good. A dedicated work light as you describe seems a better choice. This “multilight” tries to do too much with very few benefits.
It begs only one question: can it slice prosciutto thin enough? Dealbreaker feature for me
Anticipating the iPhone Air, I suppose? I’m really let down by Samsung crippling their phones due to following Apples lead in frankly stupid and consumer unfreindly designs… I use an iPhone and am very critical of much Apple does, but other manufacturers don’t look much better (even those that did years ago)
Oh I’m really sorry, didn’t realise at all. I copied the link from the webpage I opened through the andurilify mail service.
I try to remove the parameter.
Edit: done, should be working with no affiliate appendices. I will double check from now on!
Yeah, navigating Hanks website is a challenge! Nice choice, I have the Q8 Pro and the Plus looks like a nice upgrade compared to that. Also saw the banner, unfortunate… try JLhawaii for future Hank purchases, maybe he has good stock on some lights?
M44 Meteor? It’s something like a successor to the D18, with better optics and driver. Also available as dual channel.
Thanks for your thoughts on that! I have a Skilhunt H04 RC and use it extensively around the house for handiwork, but it over the limit for a jogging headlamp for example. I would expect the D4W to be in the same range.
Didn’t really got the chance to use it for what I meant to (I’ll check soon if the headband of the Manker E03H II fits, if not I have to find one that does). I skipped the bigger Hank worklights because I feared they would be too big and bulky, but this feels perfect. It’s light but solid. I’ll also evaluate the beam shape and in case swap in other TIR (I got the other 2 options to be on the safe side).

They did :) Even with the preorder complication and the choice of emitter by email, got everything right and fast.
The switch is out of metal, with LED indicator in the middle (blue as the idle color, red or green while charging I think)
Nov-Mu V2 on its way, if a mule, then this I would say! Everyone seems to love this light.
I just ignore the existence of E07x Canon because if I just open its webpage I would end ordering it, too :D Hopefully it can be modded to make the beam pattern work with dedomed 519a - I also like a nice, even beam!
Yeah the output with 4000K could be a letdown, espetially if the tint is greenish. Maybe I’ll change to the FFL emitter, but I really want to try out the 70.3. Maybe it won’t be the right host after all, I would like to drive it with as much current it can take! Does someone have suggestions on the best host for a 70.3 - high output wall of light, good sustain? The Convoy hosts (L6?) look very interesting.
Nice “black and white” collection you have there! Cool to see the two different and very characteristic styles from Hank and FF side by side.
I have a Nov-Mu V2 in fossil grey on the way and the color looks awesome in pictures, with the marbled texture up close. For the X1L I’m debating, but I think I’ll go with matte black for the contrast with the shiny gloss of the stainless steel parts - unfortunately no clip in glossy black, but I will take it out eventually.
I’m glad you report no issues with your lights!
I despise this SUV trend, too, but isn’t it a bit extreme to judge a person just by the car they drive? The majority of people don’t even think about it and the market is flooded with these things, so they have less and less choice. There are cases where SUVs make sense, in mountainous regions and where it snows a lot, but I agree that space has to be better used and public space respected.
Awesome! Really nice combination
Yes and no, I think there is an opt-out toggle.
App drawer is there, too
Ok this pretty much sets it
