Fun fact: the events in Anne Frank’s diary and Maus actually happened. They are far more valuable than the Goat Herder’s Guide to the Galaxy.
If you see me somewhere please let me know. I’ve no idea where I went.

Rockbox is a bad benchmark due to its insane versatility. Just because modern players “should” support something doesn’t mean the manufacturer put the work in to do so, or even do it well.
That said, when I buy a portable music player the decision is always based on whether or not there’s a Rockbox port for it.
No shreds given.
*didn’t. They seem to have found a handy way to legislate from the bench. All they need is an excuse to hear a fake case and some imaginative takes on obscure rings that aren’t remotely precedent.
We were evicted from our septic tank.

With all his meddling it’s not even the Twitter of the US anymore
“SLAMMED” SLAMMED!
Well of course. No human being would actually use her personal struggle to call attention to the need for systemic change. Let’s just complain the government is corrupt so we can dismiss it all and justify our own complacency.
Found a brand new (still with original tags) Duluth Trading Co. “flannel jacket” for $7. It’s an oversized, fleece-lined flannel shirt. Nice quality, very warm & soft. The retail tags read $59.99, discontinued/clearance $29.95 with a date of 2013. Discontinued over a decade ago and it finally has a home (and I love it).
They do still sell these, with a few design improvements (side pockets), but they’re around $80 now I believe.
Millions of people not voting because it would take millions of people voting to elicit positive change and nobody is doing that is one of the most frustrating things.
The frustrating thing was that the police had him on a list. They KNEW the history. But half the time they still rolled up ready for war. It was a banner day when he was woken up at 3 in the morning only by two normal officers knocking on the door to let him know it happened again.
Patrick Tomlinson was swatted over 40 times in 2023 alone. It took WAY too many times before the police would simply knock on his door and ask him if everything was okay. You’d think after the 4th or 5th time they might figure it out.

Same! I’m not even sure if it’s even a brand-name Club, so I guess take that as you may
My dad drives a base model Kia - no automatic locks, so no keyfob. Kia’s “fix” was to send him “The Club” with instructions to use it to lock the driving wheel every time he parks.
When he told me the story it was structured like a joke, with the punchline being “guess what their solution is?” before pulling The Club from behind his back and handing it to me. He couldn’t stop laughing.
I don’t need any of these but wanted to say thank you for brightening people’s holidays!
Yup! Alan Alda and Henry Rollins are the only 2 I can remember off the top of my head. Get the expanded version - the original was abridged, but the new one has all the content.
The WWZ audiobook is really solid.
I can be pessimistic AND loud & angry.
Yup, that Open Args deep dive into chevron deference was an eye opener and called this one years ago. Sucks AT turned out to be That Guy.
