Wait, so Apple is doing something good for 3rd party apps? I did not expect that to happen in my lifetime

When will I be able to use RCS in other messaging apps than Google Messages on Android?
Perhaps “Contrast”? It’s a gloomy puzzler with a good soundtrack, I would imagine it’s quite engaging to watch as well as play.
I guess it’s a subtle difference. Perhaps it’s just something that I think, and I’m not a native English speaker. It just sounds weird to me. being anti-Hitler would also be weird. He’s already gone. Being pro-nazi or anti-nazi would make more sense(in my head)
What’s the point of being “pro-Hitler”? the fucker is dead. And has been for ages. He’s not taking back the power. I would understand “Hitler-sympathizer”, but being pro-Hitler? You’re a century late, buddy.
Is the deer the Libreboot logo? Mine has a rabbit (Coreboot). I flashed Coreboot on my old Chromebook a couple of years ago and it’s been running different flavours of linux since without any fuss.
Yeah, I’m slightly miffed there’s no release date yet…
Not exactly the same, but I get similar vibes (if slightly more adult) from Squirrel With A Gun.
You could buy a VR headset from another company?
It’s certainly more expensive than Cyberpunk. According to Wikipedia, the company used $193 million between 2012 and 2017, so it’s probably passed $200 million today. I wonder how playable it is these days.
This seems like a logical step, both as a political counter move to the US limiting Huawei and TikTok, and as an actual security measure. If the Chinese state can get intel from Huawei devices, surely the US can get intel from iphones. I’m surprised they didn’t include Microsoft.
Edit: a word.
Hogwarts Legacy for me. I’ve watched a friend play it on PS5, and it looks really cool. I’m considering getting it on Steam while it’s on sale, but I’m guessing it will be the same discount when the autumn sale comes along.
I believe Dell even has some models that come with Linux preinstalled.
I just checked. I have it on both Steam and GOG. But I’ve actually never played it.
Ah, yes! The very hyped new Garfield game! I can’t wait to eat virtual lasagna and complain about Mondays.
I believe they have a high quality streaming option that some audiophiles prefer.
Spotify/apple/etc don’t produce music and are not trying to out license each other.
Tidal seemed to try going down this road with exclusives but thankfully none of the others followed.
I’ve been using Connect and Liftoff most of my time on Lemmy - can you compare those two to Sync, if you’ve tried them?
I’ve told this story on here before, but here it is again: I used to write for a very Windows-centric computer magazine, and after a couple of years I noticed that most of the content I was writing was about how to make Windows behave less like Windows. So I thought I’d give Linux a go, and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve had phases when I tried convincing all my friends to make the switch, but I’ve realized that it’s just not for everyone. I don’t think I’m obsessed, I don’t customize my desktop much, I just want my system to work smoothly.
