I don’t have a stone basement, but it’s block, on a hill, with bare floor(rocks etc). We just fixed it all up with pump, membrane, dehumidifier etc. Get a good dehumidifier with an actual pump. Some say they have pumps, but they are super weak. Get a good one.

Before we fixed it up there was a decent bit of mold in the air. And things would collect dust then mold very quickly. So watch your stuff. Keep your nose open for mold.

Beyond that, every house is different. I wouldn’t have an issue doing what your trying to do. I’d probably just keep a door open when I was down there or something. I don’t have mold anymore, and humidity levels are good with the membrane, seal, and dehumidifier.

Guaranteed they feel this and lives are slightly better without the cops running down on them 247 like some tough guys. Having to move all your shit can be the last thread for some. It’s an extremely volatile lifestyle. I’m all for ease of suffering in anyway for this community. I really wish it was not like this. Lots of people with little shot. Lots of people with many but wrong circumstances. Lots of people. Lots of problems. I’d hate to ever have to be the cop to come and sweep the riff raff away, who probably has somewhat personal interactions with many of these people often. There’s obviously way too many issues on every level here and it’s overwhelming for my small brain.

I saw starlink up in the sky a little while ago. Kinda ruins the night sky. People have been drawing inspiration from the stars forever, and it feels weird that future generations may not be able to do the same.

I feel like the waters are a bit muddy, like if you had 1 acct, and posted a bunch, I’d imagine if you collected all your posts, there would be more than enough info to link the acct to your person. Tempting BUT… I got clean off hard drugs a bit over a year ago so it’s kinda MY project and therapy yknow. I wanna figure it out. Still in the frustrating start up and learning phase, but even now it’s pretty fulfilling. Maybe in 15 years when my back is broken I may do that 😄
