I’m sorry, I don’t really understand what you’re saying. How is the way that I do it any different than manually going into the settings and adding the filter yourself, that was the way the OP was trying to do it (according to their screenshot). The way I was doing it, just automatically adds it to the filter in the settings. What do you mean by being filtered automatically?
You may not want to use the Expanded Toolbar, but it does what you’re asking. You are able to change the sort type on the left side of the screen.
Yeah, the link included in that post, which is a link to a lemmy.ml post, opened in an external browser for me as well, and not in Sync.
I just tried it and it worked. I tapped the 3 dots on the Post, then selected Filter, then I selected the username. Now it is no longer showing the post from that user.
In Beta version 31, there has been an option added to browse all your files. There’s now three dots that you can click on, that will bring up a Browse option. (However, I believe Beta version 31 is still in the internal beta testing.)

No, there is currently not a setting for this. However, there has been an issue logged in on Sync for Lemmy’s GitHub issue tracker for an option to show actual upvotes/downvotes.
When you are in the Sync for Lemmy settings, just long press on the setting that you want to copy, and it will get copied to your clipboard, and then just paste it into your comment.
As far as I know, there is not an option to put it directly on the post. You can either turn on the Display Navigation Bar or the Reply Fab Button.
I have not figured out what the sorting order is. I have 4 accounts on different instances, and for me, they are not in the order that they were created. I wish there was a way to sort them, if there is, I haven’t figured it out yet. Also, another problem that I’m having with the accounts in the sidebar, is not being able to see the full account name. All 4 of my accounts have the same username and profile pic, and in the sidebar, all I can see is part of my username…, I’m unable to see the instance name on any of my accounts. I’ve had to memorize the order that they are in. This may be more of a problem for me because I have a long username and I use a larger font size, I don’t really know.
I’m sorry that it didn’t work for you. I’ve actually always used the Slides view type, even when using Sync for Reddit, so I’ve actually never tried it. I did suggest it because another user said in this Comment, a couple of weeks ago, that it had worked for him. I’m not really sure why it’s only an option for Slides and Cards anyway. I am glad that you was able to find a workaround.
I think that the self-text font option only shows up when you are using the Slides or Cards view type. If you are using a different view type than one of these, you can temporarily switch to Slides or Cards, change the self-text font to whatever size you want, and then switch back to your original view type.
You may have already found the settings for changing the post font size, in case you haven’t, you can try changing these settings.

Yeah, I see this as well. There are a couple of my communities that are also out of order. They’re both from kbin.social. I don’t know why it does this, hopefully it’ll get fixed.
You can also enable the Show Actions setting to be shown in your bottom navigation bar (if you use it), then you can access your Saved posts and comments from there.

According to the dev, on Discord, the Beta 29 update just got approved by the Google Play store, this update includes the feature to create a post. I’m sure you’ll be getting the update very soon.
About 3 weeks ago, the dev offered 100 spots for the internal beta testing, on Discord, it was basically first come first serve.
I’m in the internal Beta, so he may have only released to it so far.
Unsubscribing from a community will work if you’re only viewing your “Subscribed” feed, however if you are viewing the “Everything” feed, the only way to not see certain communities would be to filter or block them.
