I guess the best way for that, is to crosscheck with the maiantained list on the megathread of this community.

Happy, that you found my comment :D
I’ve also searched for such a solution for a longggg time. When i finally found it though… holy moly i was happy about that
You could also go the route of directly downloading from spotify with Zotify.
If you got premium it downloads in full 320kps. (Make sure to use the --download-real-time=True
toggle to raise no suspicion for spotify servers. This way you download as fast as if you were listening to the songs/audiobooks yourself.
Its a command line tool. Though if it can remove possible DRM Watermarks from the audiostream - no clue. But i wouldnt think they actually do that.
I guess the following are the modt liked:
https://alternativeto.net/software/teamviewer-quicksupport/
https://alternativeto.net/software/teamviewer/
Maybe even windows remote help tool if you got a AD with microsoft accounts. (For fat clients - thinclients mostly have VNC or you could at least look at what they do by opening their RDP session)
I don’t know where else you could look but the common E-Book & Audiobook places. So far many Books were not listed in the usual piracy sites. I had to search explicitly for the only Book/Comic/Audio Book related ones.
These sites however have TONS of Material in all kinds of categories. So even if there wouldnt be a “Artbook” Filter, if you look for a reocurring comic, make use of the reocurring name and hit the search with it.
You may have to check what are the best sites for your language though.
I guess OBS? Works on Windows if you use the webbrowser and disable Hardware Acceleration. Be advised though, the resolution and bitrate on browsers alone could be limited and also on linux clients.
I think the best way is still to rely on already ripped content. Though if you want to start creating webrips yourself, afaik people use their cookies and use the streams, that the browsers/applications get pushed and turn them into other video formats. But not at all a pro on this topic. Someone else here is surely better informed than me on this topic.
You were ready for reading the manual. Darn good that you’ve made it without passing that line. Once you pass it you never come back to being sane again, you know?
:D
Holy moly Networking Class… I’m getting flashbacks to my time when in the Simulated Cisco Environment we tried the SPT out and yes you are right. It takes a short but nonetheless weird amount of time for it to timeout.
Thanks for giving me the updates. If I or somebody else ever has similar symptoms maybe they will find this thread :D
I gotta say I think I would never had targeted SPT as the culprit. Though to be fair I only use dumb switches in my homelab and at the corp, the Networking department gatekeeps the nice stuff a bit :3
Anyway, I’m happy you found out and were able to fix it. <3
I know this is stupid to ask but can you test setting up servers fresh from a .iso? No template, no domain join, no nothing that would create any predefined settings. If the issue doesnt persist, maybe there is a legacy gpo or something that forces it for domain recognition before allowing other network traffic. Or something completely different but we gotta corner the problem in with troubleshooting.
And also maybe create a script that’s being fired at bootup. The script could write the timecode and the “ipconfig /all” and “route print” into a textfile every few miliseconds.
This would create large logfiles but might help. Since if you are even uncapable of pinging local adresses with IPv4 adresses, maybe the network stack just simply doesn’t load fast enough.
Also some additional info might help with cornering it in such as:
Thanks for this. Was a pleasant read and a good mood lifter after recieving an emergency call for a useless alarm in the monitoring ^^
Argh good god. Ansible. Another topic that I wanted to dive in recently. It seems to be more and more used in all kinds of environments. Gotta get my fingers on it and get to know my way around in it.
Sadly oVirt has also reached EOL it seems. There hasnt been an update for it for eternities. oVirt is actually pretty nice in some aspects but yeah it has some weird bugs. Running a prod environment though is actually possible if you have enough hypervisor in a cluster then even patching runs quite smoothly. Autobalancing also works nice.
The only thing I haaateee about it is the awful one-time consoles.
The fact that Windows Server .iso’s dont have the needed drivers to recognise a virtual drive is also not the best for a productive environment with many windows servers. Its possible, yes. But it brings a little headache at the beginning of setting everything up with it. After all you only need to mount em manually a few times. Only so many times, as you create a fresh VM-template for your environment. After that it isnt any hassle anymore.
Hm, well then maybe an alternative to usenet maybe try the OCH-Variant. Many sites out there for the german dubbed content. An old but good site to get to some good warez sites fast is startseite.to But some old links still exist and might not be the best route to go, so still be cautios matey.
Yeah I’m also still onm the manual way and not really happy with it.
But on this topic this dudes Page has been often mentioned in threads. Maybe you can get it working for you:

For a complete series its difficult. I guess you could copy all the links of each episode, put it in a .csv file, and let GPT write a script that opens up a Terminal/CMS/Powershell that calls yt-dlp with the parameter being the link of each episode.
Naming to be S01/E01 could get difficult but you could make another row in the .csv file and let GPT edit the script, so that after the download is complete the file gets renamed to the corresponding row.
Oooor you go the easiest way and sail the high seas, go to serienjunkies.org or other sites like this one, and go with one of the one-click-hosters, pay them and be good for a year or whatever time range you would choose.
I think he has a typo, yes. The correct link:
Edit: if you have a link of the video on the arte website, you might wanna try to copy the link and put it into yt-dlp. It is capable of downloading from youtube with sponsorblock information but also capable of downloading videos from other sites. For example the ARD Mediathek or Arte.
Are you downloading or creating the remux? ^^
If you are downloading:
If you are only playing the movie on the laptop on a 15" screen, resolution above 1080p doesnt matter all that much for movies. If you are watching it on a large 4k tv - something like over 50" you have to consider the additional storage space, thats needed with the higher quality variant.
I am personally not so much considered with high resolution unless I watch a movie again and again and again. If you probably only watch it once, try out the 1080p version and find out if the quality is high enough for ya or if it is disturbing you.
Well thats weird. Maybe try the nightly build, they have additional features and patches. Maybe its a weird bug that got patched with this version or it is a random problem that occurred whilst the installation.
Well thats because as soon as you search you are actually using a website. If the website doesnt support darkmode or was someday configured to be whitemode, then it will always show up bright. If the website doesnt support darkmodes: use the newest install that comes in a few days the 120 version. Or switch to the nightly-installation where you can already now install plugins/extentions. Then install the darkreader extention. Done. Ezpz
Nah you dont need a special image for the touchscreen and stuff. Check the advanced update settings for optional downloads and also give the surface app in the microsoft store a shot. It actually is not terrible for troubleshooting.
Other than that: Create your own custom image if you deeply wish to. Here is the help doc:
