I feel you man. I am in the same boat as you.
I feel you man. I am in the same boat as you.
I am 32. I love my dad, he did his best. He was a good dad.
But I will probably never be able to forgive him for the times he shouted and yelled at me when I wasn’t a good kid. He went into fits of rage over mundane things like homework and failing school. I remember everything he said in those fits of rage. Every instance of it. And I definitely remember feeling terrified.
And will remember it until the day I die.
Even at 70 years old.
Producing - sure. But consuming?
I don’t think the discussion is choosing between not working AT ALL and working there.
It is more about would you work at a good place that has good people and decent pay, or Meta.
Same. I do game, just games like Terraria aren’t my taste, but I’ll still buy the game on my accounts to show my support to them.
We thought you would love to throw money at us!
Remember Blizzard when they released Warcraft 3 Reforged? “We’re sorry you didn’t get the experienced you thought you deserved”. Gold mine, that one. It wasn’t phrased like that exactly but that was what they meant.
More like the limit will be decreased to $100,00 and the fee will go up to 0.4 (0.35 for pro). You don’t get it, you just was confused and angsty, this is a better proposal!
Honestly I don’t see most of the indie companies keep working with Unity unless they have no choice. Even if they roll it back, who’s to say that they won’t do that again next year?
The fact that they count you retroactively for eligibility means they want to try and rake as much money as possible.
That is why we banned abortion, no? Because we care about babies?
No, we banned abortion to keep controlling women and make sure they keep their head low and their financial situation lower. And it works so well that they have to shoplift, in which case we can justify killing them. Mission accomplished!
Honestly, fuck humanity.
Maybe - and that would mean they will lose the case.
However, if they manage to drag it out for years and years, it’ll be a serious strain on the bakery owner’s financials. Assuming it is a small business and not a huge chain, it would have them struggling to keep up the cost of defense until that happens.
To eat in a bakery? Sure.
To be fair, that’s not grammar :p
It doesn’t matter what age is it. It’s not like people suddenly stop being reckless and careless at 21. I’ve heard enough horror stories of people who are way ahead of legal age doing dangerous stuff.
This is how you know that being rich sets you up for life. It doesn’t matter what they’ll do - it’ll end up a slap on the wrist at best. The system is unjust and corrupt.
At this point I assume everything about me is known to all the corporations. When stuff like that happens, I just go “yeah that tracks”.
Does it? Can you even remember a product that you bought after looking at its ad?
I’ve never, not once in my life, saw an ad which managed to make me buy something.
It doesn’t matter what it’s selling. The fact that it’s disrupting whatever I’m doing or making my experience worst makes me refuse to buy whatever it’s selling, and it doesn’t matter how personalized it’ll get. I will never be influenced to buy something just because I saw it on an ad.
This feature will literally do nothing for me. I’ll still block ads, or if they are unblockable for any reason, I’ll just ignore them until they’re done.
You might be able to do it if you’ll get closure by talking to your dad about it.
My dad is the type that is never wrong, never does anything bad, and therefore never apologizes. I brought this up a few times and he always say I exagerrate or those instances never happened. He will never own up to it.
