It’s literally the worst thing you can do in a democracy. Allow your representatives manipulate/be manipulated by the stock market

You would presume that the partner of a BP exec would have sufficient household income. Apparently not…
That’s not how it works, especially before they reach a consensus / theory. But anyway.
Unfortunately there was a bit of hysteria around 5G, but I would personally prefer more research be conducted on the safety of 5G before mass implementation. There’s enough research out at the moment saying that more research needs to be conducted, but there’s a potential for adverse outcomes.

That’s a very simple process, I’m sure people would be more than happy to do that on available vehicles.
Excellent, thank you.
I’ve been considering switching to Linux, but did you say Firefox takes 30 seconds to start? Is that standard? Edit: what a strange bunch you are to downvote a random question.
How strange… Thanks for letting me know! :)
I’m currently in a country that has controlled internet. As a result I often can’t see external links or news articles…
I had no idea about the differences with h264 / 265.
Interesting article to skim here for the uninitiated https://www.techspot.com/article/1131-hevc-h256-enconding-playback/
I think you’re confused. I said I don’t know if you missed a /s or not. Meaning that the quote you posted seems outlandish, but there is unfortunately plausibility it’s true.
Are you saying your quote was factual?
I’m not sure if you missed a /S and that’s concerning
At the cost of likely downvotes
women must wear Islamic clothes, can’t go to school for long, can’t go out alone, etc etc
As an outsider, this is literally what I expect America to be like in 10 years
Unfortunately, valid comment.
Holy shit, that article outlines an incredible level of incompetence, dear lord …
Eh, I wouldn’t classify a phone as a luxury good. Id also say a non-cheap EV is more like 50-60 times a phone. But there’s definitely a gap in society for those that can buy new cars, let alone new EVs
It’s not an apple with apple comparison though. People are willing to pay a higher price for EV when factoring in reduced maintenance costs, charging and ?? environmental benefit.
I disagree, you can’t expect everyone to be technologically literate enough to understand the consequences of everything. And you can’t palm it off by saying “well they need to/should”. Much like expecting people to understand and read every single EULA that everyone always scrolls down and hits “accept” At some point legislation needs to be drafted yo make it very clear the consequences, or legislate to ensure privacy so companies can’t do this.
Holy shit you guys need some serious help.
