I don’t think the article is saying the “only” symptom of long Covid is a brain injury.

But that’s not how research works… research papers will often assess one very specific area… there’s no point in talking about all of the other ailments that are possible with Covid, because the research paper was exploring brain injury biomarkers ?

In my opinion, some of your comparisons are a bit off. For example, I’d say there’s a significant difference between D&D, arcades yada yada as these were generally social activities, where as you stated phone access can be completed from the comfort of their couch.
I anticipate there will inevitably be a large increase in vision impairments, neck/ upper back pain, likely social isolation and obviously reduced attention spans.

False negatives being the potential that you have the virus, but the scanner wasn’t able to identify it so returned a “you’re all clean” when in fact, you’ve got a dirty virus and should have listened in health class.

The discussions about gaming (you’re too old / it’s for kids etc.) really shit me. If you want to talk about volume of screentime, that’s perfectly reasonable. But if I chose to game instead of watch a movie / sports game / be on my phone, then that’s my choice.
