25·9 months agoI am 53 and live in DC. I bought just as the pandemic was starting when nobody knew what was going to happen and the rates were low. The market has since exploded and I could never have afforded the home I am in.
Nah, he would puff himself up online and say he will buy it for $20 a share and then try and back out.

I love it and it is so quiet.
I have been using this Mini PC as an always on running Kodi for over a year. Up to 4K resolution.

That reminds me of this story (not mine).
I was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after-work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you. So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, “no. get out.”
And the dude next to me says, “hey i’m not doing anything, i’m a paying customer.” and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, “out. now.” and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed
Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, “you didn’t see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them.”
And i was like, ohok and he continues.
"you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it’s always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don’t want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it’s too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.
If you can’t afford to host, don’t host.
That would have made for one awkward episode of Storage Wars.
32·1 year agoI didn’t really enjoy the episodes/season dealing with the Earth separatists. Much rather have earth - alien conflict.
Loved me some Londo.
Living overseas is my retirement plan, probably Portugal, I have lost faith in the American political system.
But incidentally these people are disgusting.
If you like using spreadsheets you should check out Tiller.
I tried it and saw its promise, but I don’t love spreadsheets.

Couldn’t agree more. I was so disappointed to hear they were bringing it back. The series finale really wrapped it up nicely.
1·1 year agoI wouldn’t want to have that much of a brick in my pocket. I would rather it stick out a little.
I do not have a need for so much real estate on my mobile device. Nor do I want to carry anything thicker than a phone in my pocket. I use my Galaxy S20 Ultra which serves me well on the go and I my laptop if I want to look at something on a larger screen while I am home.
This is exactly me. I use voice command for the laziness feature. I don’t often have my phone right at hand. And I just need to turn the lights up to 100%.
