Nah dude, someone took the opportunity to use a slogan originating in witch hunts of people threatening the ruling class in their bleeding of post-war prosperity in America.
This is about some despot using their resources to interfere with what modest self-governance we have in America
The prices will continue to be imaginary as you run off with your items
From what it sounds like, the safety is in the device not the grid. In case you haven’t noticed, there is a far lesser sense of personal responsibility to those around you in the US than Europe and I don’t know that I’d trust that nobody over here would fudge some bypass to power their house in an outage
Better get started then
LA breathes a sigh of relief at this comment
I get that but it’s also a genre about social commentary and I think that is best when someone for whom the setting is their home can inject their perspective
I believe there was a cum jar, cum box, cum wall, cum squid, cum coconut, and cum couch
Or the fact that it does nothing to address the causes of crimes that don’t stem from a “risk-reward” assessment and just lets whoever’s left behind have some false sense of having done something
The problem with that is the rich still get to enjoy it and the rich live in excess. It would make more sense although logistically nonsensical to keep the price the same but only the poorest are allowed access to it
All this R&D on a drone that can open doors?
Hyperbole is an understatement, the headline is obviously just trying to generate clicks. Idk how else we should quantify “human performance” though. Should we compare it’s strength to a sedentary office worker instead? I think the marathon comparison is actually very generous because I doubt this thing can even replicate a reasonable facsimile of a soccer performance.
I always empathize. At the end of the day it comes down to education and rural parts of this country are massively underserved when it comes to educational spending. I come from a rural community and it seems like everyone regardless of party lines knows the issues but it’s infuriating to see people vote against their self interest because they’ve been disincentivized to discuss things with their neighbors and come up with the best solutions for their community

Any conflict where both sides have been huffing their own farts long enough to forget who they represent while they tear apart the land that normal people are just trying to go about their lives on.
