But that sounds haaaaard to design…
Hey, maybe here’s an actual good use for AI, study how lots of people play strategy games, and teach a model to play at varying skill levels.

“and all your income from these calls will go to zoom”
Looks gorgeous, like the original. I’m curious if it’ll be harder than the original, being in full 3D. With the ability to freely run around everywhere, it might be easier to miss something than if you only jumped between predetermined points. Maybe not, I can’t remember if everything important in Riven was visually distinctive, or if there are things hidden in the background that are easy to overlook.
Probably a good time to stock up on toilet paper and N95’s!
I mean…I guess you could parahrase it that way. I took it more as “Look, you probably aren’t going to run into any weird answers.”. Which seems like a valid thing for them to try to convey.
(That being said, fuck AI, fuck Google, fuck reddit.)
Yippie Kai yay
Orange Charger bills landlords based on energy usage instead of the number of outlets installed. So far, the company has installed about 2,000 units nationwide.
“You have no downside to install 50 outlets day one,” Johnson said. “We only charge when the device is used.”
But it also says the chargers cost $600 or $750, plus more for installation. Do they charge for both? Either way, I guess it’s the apartment owner’s choice, but god damn I am sick of everyone trying to get a subscription or on-going payment out of me.
It’s friends with, like, eight people.
My early-20’s cousin-in-law the other day said something like “I don’t want to vote for Biden or Trump, they’re both the same”. He’s getting locked up for killing me, because I died when I heard him say that. (I went on to explain to him that they are NOT the same.)
If we just attached a generator to the battery industry, all these revolutions would solve our energy needs!
Nut job cut jobs
Oooh God, there’s a fire!!!..sale
(Sorry for quoting arrested development during a tragedy)
World of Goo 2, and now Plants vs Zombies 3? What year is it!? (Not that I’m mad)
Sinking even more hours of my life into Path of Exile. Also been playing some Cobalt Core on my steam deck I got for Christmas.
Without his help, computer science would be wirth-less.
So you’re anti-semantic?
I’d like to go ahead and preemptively express my concerns that this technology could be used to create convincing videos of a person dropping multiple mini doughnuts on the floor, at which point they start crying, sit down, and then start eating the doughnuts off the floor. If such a video ever surfaces of me, we’ll know my fears were well founded.
If you’ll excuse me, I need to finish off these doug-…this paperwork.
It must be funny, otherwise where’d all these tears on my cheeks come from!? 😂
They’re like “we should address the fact that this product sounds exactly like a bleak dystopian future”
I am beyond stoked for this new release!
