You should say what OneUI version you updated to, it could help someone find a fix for this issue. I think the issue is the target Android version in the app, not sure if that can be modified. Try looking for an updated version of the app.

Use another gallery app. I forgot to turn it off on my S21 and just disabled it and ignored the random emails and notifications it will send.
You accidentally download malware and instead of you denying permissions it shouldn’t have it has them automatically.
