I would absolutely take that trade-off. I don’t need a lot of range.
Interesting. I have no stats. Do you have any idea how many miles or how many charge/discharge cycles you’ve done?
Yeah, you can outsource key parts of your business but absolutely need to keep your eyes on it. We won’t know if they are on it or not for a while.
I am not buying an EV until they are using LFP batteries. LiFePo4 have so much more life…I really don’t want to be replacing huge banks of lithium ion in 5 years.
Some manufacturers seem to be getting on board with this. Disappointing that hedge clipper (what I know Fisker for) here isn’t one of them. Sorry…that is Fiskar, a totally different company.
That is actually pretty solid. Ordered one.
Expensive is a little bit a problem. Mostly I don’t want to spend money.
I’m going to try a Zimaboard for the backup server. It should be fine. I might need a USB hub but whatever, performance isn’t a wiggle there.
I’m not allowed to go places or do things. That isn’t a bad idea though.
Absolutely. I use ipv6 so I can directly reach all my servers. For public facing things I put it on an ipv4 address but for my own internal stuff, ipv6.
Yeah, on servers low swap and an alert on available ram so I know if things are getting snurgly.
Competitions. In college I did the ACM ICPC and trained hard with my schools programming team.
These days I do advent of code, which will start on Dec 1. But you can go fo previous years now. It is great.
