Yeah, I’ve gotten a lot from free leech and then just leave it running all the time to get points for other books.

Amazed no one has mentioned MyAnonamouse. They have open sign ups pretty regularly, the best private tracker I’ve ever seen. Great for ebook and audiobooks both.
If you never sell, you don’t lose money /fivehead
“Foreign” in this context just means “not Crowdstrike”, not like a foreign government.
He is … The Naked Man
Thank you. Certainly sounds like more research needs to take place, but this is awesome and will hopefully encourage more studies.
I also thought it was interesting that discrepancies between trans and cisgender women in strength could be attributed to trans women being forced to use men’s training facilities, equipment and resources, which get more funding and are better equipped. It’s amazing what you learn when you control certain variables.
This is incredible work. I have one question that confused me, the article says that trans and cisgender women have the same bone density, which is linked to muscle strength. Then it says that bone density “is not indicative of athletic prowess”.
If bone density and muscle strength are positively correlated, then it should be an indication of athleticism, no? Do I have a misunderstanding of what they consider “athletic prowess”?
Tulsa native here. I never learned about it in school, even in the early '00s. I was a grown ass adult before I really learned about it and everything that happened. Notably, it was always called the “Tulsa Race Riots” to downplay the atrocities. The street in Greenwood was renamed to Reconciliation Way.
In my memory, that district never had anything going for it until recently, nobody cared. It’s been awesome to see it start to flourish. (I am not a lawyer) I really hope something can be done for the plaintiffs here, if it doesn’t fit the public nuisance law, surely there is something for the people directly affected by the events?
To my shame, I’m still deeply ingrained in the Google ecosystem. I settled on it like 8-10 years ago and I’m not sure how to dig myself out of this pit. More than Chrome, I heavily use Docs, Sheets, Drive, Wallet, YouTube, Gmail, I even have a Pixel (I hate how bloated Samsung is).
I’ve used Firefox a little for work because of the nice containers feature. Is Google Drive bad too? It’s so easy to share things, I torrent a lot of books and I’ve shared with a bunch of friends, idk if there’s an alternative that others could easily use.
I’m not sure if it affects the Google Home device, but it’s definitely possible to block certain people already. I did that on my phone because it kept showing things with my ex.
People attacked him for his character, that he couldn’t be president for this. And I agree, those in high office must be held to the highest standard.
But my god, where are we now??
It might depend on the school district, but my family has worked for 3 different ones across a couple states, and they would not get paid monthly or anything over the summer. First check for them would come in September even, and we start school in mid to late August around here.
IIRC they would get a larger sum at the end of the school year to hold them over til the fall. I vaguely recall my step mom talking about how every year there would be a teacher who budgets poorly and forgets the first paycheck isn’t until September.
2 days off during the school year is insane, but teachers don’t really work during summer vacation. If the school picks a new book for their class then there’s work. They’re really just required to show up a couple weeks before school starts, at least in my state.
My step mom and her whole family were teachers (5 total). Ranging from kindergarten to high school. I don’t think any of them had as little as 2 days off allowed per school year, but I imagine some districts could be that shitty.
Agreed, certainly possible, but I haven’t personally granted Sync permissions to anything except notifications.
I mean yeah, it’s a closed source app. The most that could possibly be collected is your IP alongside browsing habits. Your ISP already does that and definitely doesn’t care who gets it, so anyone who is concerned already uses a VPN.
I don’t think it needs to be two separate queues, just matchmaking could add it as a preference.
Might be worth noting, most of Enid’s money comes from a Koch plant there, one of the largest in the country.
Enid’s politics and people are definitely influenced by the Koch’s.
I’m from Oklahoma, and Enid is definitely a small, backwoods town that has nothing but a Koch plant.
Trump won that county in 2020 with 77% of the vote.
At least it’s drawn to scale, but yeah I get it. Starting at 7k probably makes it easier to read.
I mean…artists should be paid for their work right? Fuck Nintendo, but that same logic could be applied to anyone. I’d be pissed if someone just straight up lifted my designs and resold it.
