proprietary games that install rootkits(wrongly called anticheats) on the system. the corporations in charge have brainwashed masses into thinking that it’s just a benign thing there to fend off “cheaters”, conveniently brushing aside the fact that this is a massive and lucrative attack vector. it only helps bad actors(including three letter agencies).
and this is not a what-if scenario. every year you can find an incident where such a “solution” is exploited.

furthermore, they add nonstandard features to their browser(along with chrome), which makes it difficult to make websites look the same across browsers.
fortunately, I can test those websites beforehand since we have webkit-based epiphany on GNU/Linux(the engine which safari uses).
but other developers, especially those who are on windows can’t, since safari is mac-only.

I have a special stylesheet to fix safari(and chrome) styling.
otherwise it’s a fine lightweight browser(blessed be KHTML).

I steer clear of doing anything personal with work related devices. but even then, Android at least allows for two separate profiles.

but apple sets “standards” that other companies blindly follow. it’s the reason why we have non-removable batteries, no charger inside the box, no audio jack, etc.

i have unlocked bootloader of every single smartphone I’ve ever had, ranging from Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola to Google.

pixels are the easiest to unlock. there are several mediocre things about pixels(battery life, refresh rate, etc.). but unlocking bootloader isn’t one of them.

yeah, least thing I would want is my PC becoming another use and throw mobile phone(it’s already happening with mac and hp’s elitebook).

yeah, there are quite a number of people who have multiple accounts. almost everyone I know does. same goes for whatsapp and instagram. it’s still a massive number nonetheless
