  • I don’t why tf anyone is even talking about infrastructure.

A non-zero number of people hate cars. The original comment that started this thread was insinuating that the existence of cars and public roads encourages drunk driving. It’s a brain dead, dumb-ass opinion. People can take prescription pills, get behind the wheel, and kill someone. The infrastructure doesn’t encourage or discourage any of these things. They want to demonize the infrastructure so they can justify ripping it out and making my bike to work when it’s 0 degrees and snowing.

  • Yes, this is a social media hit piece. MSM hates social media because it’s a way for the public to circumvent their lies. The entire article is based on (likely fabricated) anecdotal evidence:

“It’s really bizarre to me that everyone’s gone to this place in their mind that content has to be so curated,” Bruening told us. “So curated that you can’t show what you’re cooking for dinner, because that’s not cool enough.”

Everyone? Did they take a global survey? Do they see my instagram feed? This person just has shitty friends. Or they are lying.

There is plenty they can do. They created this mess with their algorithm. They can undo it by changing it, again.

Google does not objectively score or rank a site based on what you are actually looking for. They rank based on how much time other people spend on the site. How many other sites link back to the site. They rank based on how many words are on the page, regardless of if that actually matters.

This is why when you google a recipe, all the top results are blog posts from soccer moms telling a life story about food. You don’t care about that stuff - you just want the recipe. But that’s what google cares about.

    Google can change this.
