Lol there was literally 4 months left until the 2024 election when Biden dropped out. Using those few weeks to have a primary and lose the Biden-Harris warchest would’ve made no sense. Every single person that voted for Biden in the primaries ALSO voted for Harris. We all knew that if he stepped down, she’d step up. It literally made sense.
