There was one sideloaded app for Roku that I truly loved, a knockoff of FilmOn that had all the main British channels, like the BBC ones, Channel Four and ITV. But one day about a year ago - maybe a little bit more - Roku nuked it.
Fidgety corporate ADHD. Constantly breaking things that used to work and now they don’t, all across the extended ecosystem (such as Alexa). Some assholes trying to justify their salary as the clueless and mesmerized suits go along with it, this is “metrics” anti-culture they’ve created. High-fiving themselves and giving themselves bonuses, for making things palpably enshittified.
It also sounds kinda like Lucas with the Original Trilogy.

While I don’t condone extortion via hacking or any other means, I acknowledge that Reddit and its’ dysfunctional, incompetent corporate culture - with Huffman at the top - brought this development upon themselves.
The biggest advantage is that you don’t need to spend money anymore for a VPN
Unless you use it for accessing and switching to and from Canadian/UK Netflix or something like that on a Roku or Firestick, I presume.
Each day that passes, your brain makes a wider and wider path for any new format, the place and its’ different rhythm become more familiar and comfortable.
It will NOT feature Bullwinkle and Julia, that’s for sure.
