I have this vpn because it comes for free with my Google Drive subscription. I have never used it because it does not do what I expect it to do
- privacy, it’s Google.
- pretend to be in a different country is not available

What I do is two things
This ways, all your views are meme-free.
Bonus tip for finding new commuties: create a new account and go to your All view. Every post you see, check if you like the community. If you like it, subscribe to it on your normal account and then block it on your new account. The new account works kind of like check off system. Each community that you made a decision on (subscribe or don’t care) will no longer be visible on the new account. This way, other communities that are smaller will also be revealed.
What happens if you download something. Does it also upload while downloading?
Is it possible to download the torrent that you seed from outside your network by yourself? Mobile network, a friend or family wifi. To be sure that it does not download it all from someone else, create a torrent from a random file, upload it to a random tracker and download the torrent from outside your network.
Same with YouTube ads. Lots of scam’s and reporting it always ends in my report getting denied…
In addition what others have already said, in the Gmail search bar it can search for mails that have an attachment larger than x mb. I did that some time ago and there where a lot large mails that were not worth it to save on disk
It depends in the country you are.
If you want to show of your skills, why not write an article about it. This way you don’t publish company property (maybe only snippets of code) and the viewer can read your reasons on why you made certain decisions.
But do not do this without consent of the company. If the company likes it, you could even start your article something along the lines of “here at %company% we like to write good code…”. Than it is a win-win. I see this a lot on sites like medium.com
That was a good read. Thanks for the link.
Yeah, or download the blueray files and convert them yourself with something like HandBrake. It takes a lot of effort but does do the job…
Nice. Instantly bought the adfree version.
That is a long time ago that I have heard anyone say that. Wasn’t there a client software called DC++ or something like that?
If the wood will be painted it might work with a ‘hole saw’. Saw a rond hole removing the anchor and then saw the same size hole in a different piece of wood giving you a wooden disc. Glue the disc in the hole and sand it is completely until you can’t feel it anymore. Paint it so it is also not visible.
Do be aware that this is very hard to do and it might not look as nice. Try it on some scrap first.
I wonder if it has something to do with the framework you pick. There are probably frameworks that aim to be as stable as possible but lack the cutting edge.
Try searching for “sound absorbing window vents” or “accoustic trickle vents” or “silent air vent”.
I think they all use something that is called an air maze. The air (and sound) will travel through series of bends covered with foam so the sound will be blocked but not the air. This does make the airflow slow down so it needs a fan the make it go through.
If that is the case, there are also fresh air thingies that are mounted on the wall and have a tube outside but block any sound from outside. Useful when having a bedroom next to a busy road.
Also all the tracking and analysis tools that are integrated in most ecommerce are huge. We made a website for a company that was really fast and snappy. Then they added all their tools and it turned into a slug.
Where did they go to? From Apple to Microsoft to SpaceX to Apple?
