How would you drive the adoption of such a protocol in an environment that is largely hostile towards attempts at demonetising things?
So be authentic to the universe. Be authentic to the lore. Nobody knows what ‘authentically American’ will look like in fifty plus years. And it’s still a fictitious city. There is no need for details to conform with any particular city of today, American or not.
I don’t need a game that’s set in a fictional future and world to be ‘authentically American’.
Lots of very roundabout ‘the game isn’t difficult, you just need to get good at it’ replies in this thread, trying hard not to say the quiet part out loud…
That’s the thing. Apple has that track record already. This years iOS update will be available for phones released as far back as 2017. And that’s not a recent development - 4+ years have been the norm with iOS devices for a long time, while many Android phones have suffered from much faster obsolescence.
Google have yet to prove that they can fulfill this promise.
I’ll touch base with you in 7 years to see how that’s going.

Does your Android phone get 5+ years of software support?
I noticed the other day when I accidentally logged in with a different account. Confused the shit out of me. Obviously this is all about presenting ‘related content’ more prominently and driving that engagement.
Strange how I’ve been using wired headphones with my phones until two years ago, even though I haven’t had a phone with a headphone jack since 2017…
Battlefield 2142 was ambitious. It included one of the most fun Battlefield game modes I’ve played (Titan), and in my opinion the main reason it bombed somewhat was that it came out way too quickly after Battlefield 2, which was still ragingly popular with PC gamers, and the player base didn’t have much appetite for changing over to a new game.
EA made games before pay to win loot boxes became a thing.
It’s more likely that the rich already have all the luxury cars they want, and are looking for other ways to flaunt their wealth.
I’ve never known a rich person to be so self-conscious as to experience this kind of ‘emotional sensitivity’.
God gave us Trump…

I used to like small phones. I thought the form factor of my erstwhile iPhone 5 was perfect.
But then I got older, and my eyesight got worse. Reading small fonts on small screens is becoming increasingly difficult, but I’m not yet at the point where I have to wear glasses or contacts all the time. I also don’t like just increasing font sizes, as I lose screen realestate. So I’m kinda starting to see why some people like phones with bigger screens.
Road 96 has quite a bit of replay ability as you’re unlikely to get 100% of all stories on the first playthrough.
Are they now going to hike prices every six months or some such?
Dreamfall Chapters was the first game where I stopped and thought for 15 minutes about a choice I needed to make, and its implications.
Life is Strange, LiS: Before The Storm, and LiS: True Colors, hve a special place in my heart for their deeply engrossing and moving stories, and for really getting me to care about the characters and their fates.
The first Witcher game was one that drew me in so much that I immediately started a second playthrough upon finishing the first. I have never done that with any other game.
Hardspace: Shipbreakers stuck with me for being such an excellent melange of complex puzzle, industrial accident simulator, and poignant satire on the state of labour in late stage capitalism.
