I’m sure a decent amount of people would still vote for him despite him being in jail. If there’s box for him on the ballot, they’d probably even vote him after he died.

How the hell can one have patent of ‘catching a creature through aiming’ or even more crazy to me ‘riding a creature’ in games? Both concepts exist in so many games and even in real life. I mean did Nintendo never hear of horses?
No one will bother you, if you take some fruits from a branch over the sidewalk. Especially in urban areas like the city centre. Still, legally it belongs to the tree owner.
In the countryside, it may get you in arguments if you take fruits from one’s overgrown tree. But in the countryside there are plenty of abandoned or wild trees far away from houses, where you can pick all sorts of fruit.
In Germany at least, he is right from a legal point of view. All fruits on the tree belong to the owner of the tree. In reality probably no one cares if you take a bunch of apples.
I have ‘night mode’ and ‘extra dark’ in my quick settings right below the slider. If I can get rid of one or both with an updated slider that’d be a great improvement. Never understood why smartphones are so super bright by default.
But it would take a long time to open each packet and spray it on the fire.
From my perspective that’s just a rebranding. I dived there years ago and already there it was protected for much longer.
Created in 1996, this [Mar de Las Calmas Marine Reserve] protects the richest marine area of El Hierro, which has a highly diverse and well-preserved underwater fauna and flora.

I have no clue what that standard certifies but I was able to find several such phones immediately on the German Amazon like this one for 140€ (around $150 right now) from a brand that I never heard of.
Is that a protected term where you live? In Germany a lot of products, including the cheapest and crappiest ones, are advertised as military grade and that doesn’t give any indication on quality or durability.
e.g.
If someone offers the slimmest phone, I have some doubts regarding structural integrity. Especially, the way I (unintentionally) often treat my phone, it’ll probably bend or break within weeks.
Sorry but quotes from two random people are not a serious source to prove that non-voters are leaving the US or vice versa. That’s what you call anecdotal evidence.
That’s interesting. Last year I visited an exhibition in Windischeschenbach / Germany where they drilled a hole that is more than 9000 meters deep to analyze the layers of the soil. There they said that they also penetrated several water basins while drilling that were completely isolated for billions of years. Still they didn’t find a single biologist willing to analyze these water samples. The reason that was given to me was that the liquid may contain completely unknown and highly dangerous bacteria, viruses etc.
Permafrost to me is quite similar to these underground water basins in terms of isolation over a long period of time. So that’s what I based my original claim on.
But I’m neither an expert in geology nor biology, so I can’t judge the potential risk.
Isn’t that non-adaptation a double-edged sword? Sure, the viruses aren’t adapted to humans. But likewise humans aren’t adapted to these forms of viruses. So while the chances of infection may be lower, the immune system won’t have any adequate answer to it.
Do you have a source that those people leaving are the ones that didn’t vote? I would guess that people who consider a measure as drastic as leaving your home country, would vote above average.
Furthermore, I would expect that mainly well-educated people are leaving the US, simply because it’s much easier to get a work permit elsewhere. And high education typically also correlates with higher participation in elections.
I didn’t have much time right now to a deeper research on these stand points. So if I’m wrong, I’d highly appreciate any sources.
“Kontact” as a mixture of German “Kontakt” and English “contact”
Then, a link to the debian homepage.
The firewall toggle via desktop icons.
Change admin password.
Manual antivirus.
Zip drive and floppy disk.
Then Open Office.
That’s a wild set of shortcuts on that desktop! :D
Really cool project! But you really missed the chance to integrate a tiny hidden runnel right into your house to sneak in and out.
(Or you hid it really well ;))
I highly doubt that’s a China specific issue. Far too many politicians have additional ‘jobs’ as consultants, speakers or a seat in a supervisory board. At least in Germany it’s unfortunately quite common, especially in the more conservative parties, to have additional income that exceeds your regular salary as a representative.
The sea in New Mexico is all dried up because of of all the wildfires caused by fireworks from rich guys’ yachts.
I tend to enjoy such math issues but I guess I have to wait for ELI5 YouTube video to explain me the issue and potential impact of the solution.
