Judas goat! Judas goat! Judas goat!
Judas goat! Judas goat! Judas goat!
They’re probably just leveraging the good will they have as the plucky underdog. I personally found the app clunky and that the videos loaded really slowly, but I don’t blame them for offering a lifetime subscription.
Either that, or it’s just price anchoring and they weren’t expecting anyone to spend $300, but it made the other options look cheaper
You can’t stopp the plopp
SmartTube is some of the greatest software ever made
I think all these other countries only care about the fact that India has a burgeoning middle class and is going to become the next consumption led market. Everyone has too much of their own stuff to deal with at the moment, but they love the idea of huge cohort of new customers over the coming decades, regardless of who’s in charge
Not to take away from your post, which is nuanced and interesting. But I think the buck stops at the economics for most
Truly the pimp of the year
The only way I have found to get reliable IPTV services is to post on local Facebook groups. There is invariably a few middle-aged guys who can’t spell properly and who can you “mate” who will know which service works best in your area and be resellers of said service. A few 24-hour trials and you can usually figure out what suits you best.
Blood and Oil is a fascinating book about the rise of MBS. They literally had a guy on the inside in Twitter in California who would feed them back information like this. Definitely not a boring book, it reads like a thriller more often than not
I suspect that these big corporations were advised by banks and the government to scale back work from home policies to avoid triggering a real estate market collapse in cities by vacating expensive office space en masse. This could cause defaults by landlords and a housing crisis as workers no longer need to pay premiums to live near offices. An exodus from cities would crater housing markets, which would severely damage the overall economy. Thus corporations are only half-heartedly pushing for office returns to avert an economic crisis, despite the cost savings of remote work
She’s a native of Port Douglas originally so she’s been up to her ears in reef stuff for a while. Thanks for the response, seems like it’s a good spot for now
Looks like Cinnamon is the way to go, thanks. I’ll give it a spin tomorrow, thanks for your help
Plenty of good info there, thanks for the thorough response. I’ll probably go the live USB route, which I’d forgotten was a thing. That way any hardware issues should be apparent pretty quickly
Yeah, there’s definitely a big sunk cost thing going on too
Absolutely, this return to office stuff has been an absolute gift for CEOs wanting to downsize, it’s the perfect fluffy PR way to turn the thumbscrews. Factor in the popular idea that you’re a slacker if you don’t work hard all the time and you basically have public support too.
I’m sure plenty of people will just suck it up and view the past few years as a very extended break from office nonsense and commuting hassle, but enough will jump ship to fill quotas
What version on Linux is most like Windows? I’m not a gamer and nearly everything I do runs in a browser so compatibility isn’t going to be an issue, but any time I’ve tried to migrate over it’s been a nightmare of weird errors and non-stop troubleshooting
European here. A friend of mine bought a house in Cairns a while back. Is it an area that’s known to have problems with wildfires? I realised this is a vague question but she was asking me about whether or not she should sell the house based on the global financial situation, but she never mentioned wildfires. I assume she’s factoring it in based on the insane wildfires you guys had a couple of years back but you can never be sure
Exactly, it’s total garbage. I’ve been training the algo for years, no way I’m giving that up
I leave it on, the suggestions are good as far as I can tell. What’s everyone’s beef with it?
I don’t get the YouTube hate in general. It’s much more interesting than Netflix or TV so I’m happy to pay, although I pay Argentina rates courtesy of subscribing while connected to my VPN and I use Sponsor Block to skip the in-video ad reads. It still counts
Most of the countries that are deciding to join recently are getting absolutely eviscerated by the dollar when it comes to foreign exchange, they all have very weak currencies because the dollar is just so incredibly strong relative to everywhere else.
It’s a lot more complicated than just that, but that definitely seems to be a catalyst at the moment
