I just got a P14s because ThinkPad was the last laptop out there that still had physical buttons (only for the trackpoint, the trackpad is the Apple click-anywhere style that isn’t for me). Even the Dell XPS (RIP) and HP ProBook now have only those, and obscure brands I found in reddit threads that supposedly had trackpad buttons no longer did.

I also strongly prefer the efficiency of middle button and trackpoint scroll to repeatedly scrolling on the trackpad.

Neat, I just finished playing through TBOGT the other week, going to check this out. I never downloaded something that required joining a discord before but it was simple, just joining and clicking the #downloads channel had it right there, I didn’t have to interact with anyone.

edit(s): wasn’t that hard to install, the instructions on discord are pretty straight forward, got it running it’s really awesome, I really recommend trying it. First it impresses graphically, then you realize the physics are in the new engine, the first person view is there, and it also gives proper cockpit view … there’s so much here.

I got it this year on Windows 10, I only realized it was ASUS because it also changed the RGB theme of my ROG Keyboard. Was annoying and confusing but I didn’t assume malware, just stupidity.

I just saw a video posted here about how Tyler Oliveria is a liar and his content is bogus, but when youtube kept pushing that garbage at me the over the top AI thumbnails were enough to tip off it was going to be shit, and I had blocked him months ago lol

I’ve been dealing with confirmed whooping cough for 2 months now, it’s the worst. When I got it, I saw a doctor, got tested and went on a week of antibiotics… thought it was over until I had to run for a bus and had no lung capacity. Even still, felt better until getting a common cold a month later and the whole thing returned and won’t go away. It’s not just the cough, it’s also splitting migraines and whole body pain emanating from the ribs from coughing so much and so violently, and a lack of sleep and all those symptoms too. Luckily it was just me who got the worst of it.

This past Friday, the schools just sent home a letter advising Scarlet Fever is rampant, never ends.

You call in, and for a while think you’re having a conversation with a person, but weirdly every minute and a half or so it’s just randomly peppered with that metal gear solid alert sound, the inevitable waowwww sound effect, Michael Scott and Dr. Evil soundboard clips, then when you start getting suspicious that it may not actually be a real human on the other line they randomly go on an ad read for hellofresh out of nowhere
