No, the woman in Springfield was just beaten to a pulp. You just don’t know it because it doesn’t make the news as long as she’s not been set on fire.
True, but it’s not like there are many other options for this kind of thing.
So that’s how you guys completely whiped out the Taliban /s
TIL I never knew English doesn’t have a separate word for that tool.
There is no god, so I’ll just go ahead then.
The same would go for the US. The amount of native Americans is rather small. There’s a lot going wrong in Israel right now, but not being able to sell your genetic information to for-profit companies is quite low on that list imo.
The person who did this didn’t really care about which statue if was. They also defaced (among others) a statue of Ghandi.

When Trump was president he blew up the nuclear deal with Iran and added economic sanctions. Their economy took a big hit, so I can see why they would prefer not to have Trump back even though he would be a disaster to the US.

If you think that’s what I’m saying you need to work on your reading comprehension. Suicide rates depend on accessibility of easy suicide methods. Firearms are one of the easiest method and them being legal means they’re relatively easily accessible. So yes there is a link to the legality of firearms.
none of the countries on that list with higher suicide rates than the U.S. have illegal guns
That’s just bullshit. Illegal firearms are everywhere. There are no countries on this planet without organized crime.
I think that in other countries with lots of firearms, they might still be less accessible to people with mental health issues. Especially in contrast to the accessibility of affordable mental health care.
They waited while Russia and the US tried to control Afghanistan and lost. I suppose we’ll see if china will fare better.
