So let me refer to my “stop using antisemitic words” chart…
The Little Girl “Hamas Militant” was Filming “Threatening with a deadly weapon” Israeli soldiers from the safety of her own Home “Hamas Base”.
I’m kinda in a political vacuum and, being Jewish, am kinda shielded from being called antisemitic, but are people for realsies being called antisemitic for saying statements like “a little girl was filming from her house when the IDF shot her,” or is it more hyperbolic than literal? I mean, I’ve known some assholes from the Jewish community who would probably pull that shit to get out of an argument, but does anyone actually listen to them? I mean, I’m not gonna take hygiene tips from someone covered in dog shit…
Either way, selfishly, I just want my family in Israel to be safe; idealistically, the Israeli state should have been checked before it had even gotten to this point. You can’t destroy people’s lives and homes and then think they’re gonna roll over when you corner them.
I hope against all logic that there’s a quick and less lethal end to all this. After that, it’d sure be fucking great to see some repercussions for war crimes and crimes against humanity for once. I can’t even imagine what the poor Palestinian survivors of this are gonna be like when it’s all over. How can you ever go back to any reasonable form of daily living?
It’s a joke about how everything is a hamas base in the eyes of the IDF army, and the answer from the Israeli government to any criticism calling it anti semitism.
Thank you for that answer! Fuck the terrorists in government on both sides destroying all the beautiful people between them. Also, I’ve met some non-beautiful people in both countries. So fuck them too, but small-scale.
Yes people really do for realises pull out the antisemitism remarks when it comes to criticism of Israel.
Honestly wouldn’t put it past being official policy for Israeli astroturfing/propaganda a la JIDF shenanigans.
Yes, it’s a shame, but tbf Israelis really freaked out after Oct 7 and now see threats everywhere.
There was a strong supporting reaction at first, but then the Israelis started saying some dark things and some people are starting to feel an awkward vibe.
Hamas needs to be rooted out, it’s just a lot of Israelis seem to see all gazans as hamas now, which is problematic, and lash out with “antisemitism!” When people try to deescalate.

Fucking monsters
Idk right, they think they are American cops or something?
Fun fact if you’re not aware: many American police recieved training from Israeli police and military.

You could just say ‘American.’
It’s only ‘Cops’ when it’s inland, they call it ‘Military’ when they impose outside their own borders.
But it’s all the same in the end.
The shot sounded very quiet it cannot be a rifle shot. Is it a traumatic weapon? I did not know that those are used.
That sounded like 5.56, which sounds more like a pop than 7.62 (brat) or .303 (boong).
No, it was actually an airsoft gun, OK? Why would they shoot at her?
Someone peaking out a door at soldiers with a small black object? Well I dunno. Why would soldiers ever shoot in such a situation…
LOL, OK, let’s say that a camera could be mistaken for a gun/rifle/nuke. Would the same apply to a phone? Because I cannot read something placed 10 meters away from me, and I still would distinguish a phone from a weapon.
You do not know what solder saw. But I am still insisting this can not be rifle shot. If anyone ever was near shooting rifle, they would know it is much louder.
Dude, if I ever saw someone slowly tearing you from limb to limb I wouldn’t even move my toes. I may even start making justifications for them.
Suppressors do exist. And are commonly used in close quarters combat. Especially by well funded combatants like the IDF.
“I know nothing about Thing In Video but I will choose to vehemently insist this can’t be Thing It Obviously Is, also it’s fine they shot at a civilian with no regard for rules of engagement anyway.”
Bruh
I shoot rifles all the time. This was absolutely a rifle.
Microphones don’t pick up impulse sound levels properly, and speakers certainly cannot reproduce them. You cannot accurately judge gunshot noise levels from recordings.
I have seen enough shooting videos to say that this is not true. The sound even using phone should be much louder. Not as lows as in real life, but loud and echo should be heard for quite some time.
You can tell from the audio pixels, and from hearing many 'shops in your time?
