64% of Harris contributions have come from new donors
The $126 million Harris has raised since Sunday includes $81 million in just the first 24 hours since Biden’s exit, making it the largest one-day fundraising haul for any candidate ever, according to the campaign.
The contributions have come from 1.4 million donors, 64% of whom were making their first donations of the 2024 election cycle.
The campaign also touted adding 74,000 new volunteers since Harris announced her bid for president and said Harris has inherited Biden’s robust campaign infrastructure that includes 250 coordinates offices across the battleground states.

40,000 new voters registered in the 48 hours after Biden dropped out, with 83% being 18-34 as well. Let’s fucking go!

Biden’s campaign blamed their lack of donations and falling well short of their projections on it being “summertime.” Thank goodness summer is over now.
Summertime before a fall election? Yeah, that’s a bad excuse. I was called by a local non-profit I occasionally donate to just today in order for them to be able to ramp up operations in advance of the election. It’s prime donation seeking season.

Great to see the US/Dems getting fired up with some positivity for once! There’s a strong “Let’s goooo!” vibe now! It’s incredible how right-wing influencers targeted Kamala Harris’ laugh in that video, but watching it brings nothing but joy! With all the recent grimness, I’ll take this positivity any day! :-D Kamala is memeable and is leaning into it and I wouldn’t be surprised if they just grabbed that laugh video and used it in their own campaign! :-D (I’m not a US citizen, just excited for you finally!)

Having 59 year old suddenly show up is such a relief. It’s like a weights been lifted off our shoulders. We feel strong again, faster than before.
